Chat is where links get shared and a terrible place to find one again. Stash is the shelf: save from anywhere with the bookmarklet, put it in a collection, write a note on it, and it is still there in March.
Search reads the words on the page you saved, not only the title you saved it under — the fetcher was already reading the whole document, so this cost nothing to add and changes what searching is for.
It reads like a file list rather than a card wall, because a shelf you can scan is worth more than a shelf that looks nice. Import from any browser, export in the same format, take it with you whenever.
